A Fountain of Cleansing and the End of False Prophets

13
Chapter 13
1 On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for impurity. 2 And it will be on that day, declares the LORD of hosts, I will cut off the names of the idols from the earth, and they will not be remembered anymore; and also the prophets and the spirit of impurity I will cause to pass from the earth. 3 And it will be that when a man still prophesies, his father and his mother who bore him will say to him, “You will not live, for you have spoken a lie in the name of the LORD,” and his father and his mother who bore him will pierce him through in his prophesying. 4 And it will be on that day the prophets will be ashamed, each man from his visions in his prophecy, and they will not wear a mantle of hair in order to deceive. 5 And he will say, "No, I am not a prophet—a man, a servant of soil I am, for a man taught me from my youth in my youth." 6 And he said to him, "What are these strokes between your hands?" And he said, "Which I struck in the house of my lovers."
