The Families and Settlements of Simeon

1 Chronicles 4:24-43
24The sons of Simeon: Nemuel, Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, and Saul. 25Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son. 26And the sons of Mishma: Hammuel his son, Zaccur his son, Shimei his son. 27And to Shimei: sixteen sons and six daughters; but his brothers had no sons in abundance, and all their family did not multiply until the sons of Judah. 28They dwelt in Beersheba, Moladah, and Hazar-shual. 29And in Bilhah, Ezem, and Tolad, 30and in Bethuel, Hormah, and Ziklag, 31and in Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susim, Beth-biri, and Shaaraim. These were their cities until David reigned. 32And their courts: Etam, Ain, Rimmon, Tochen, and Ashan—five cities. 33And all their courts that were around these cities were as far as Baal. These were their settlements, and their enrollment belonged to them. 34And Meshobab, Jamlech, Joshah the son of Amaziah, 35and Joel, Jehu the son of Joshibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel, 36and Elioenai, Jaakobah, Jeshohaiah, Asaiah, Adiel, Jesimiel, and Benaiah, 37and Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah; 38these were the ones who came by name, leaders in their families; and the house of their fathers broke through to abundance. 39They went to the entrance of Gedor, as far as the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flock. 40They found rich and pleasant pasture, and the land was broad and quiet and at ease, for those who dwelt there previously were from Ham. 41These came, the ones written by name, in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; they struck their tents and the Meunites who were found there, and they devoted them to destruction until this day, and they dwelt in their place, because pasture for their flock was there. 42And from the sons of Simeon, five hundred men went to Mount Seir, with Pelatiah, Neariah, Rephaiah, and Uzziel the sons of Ishi at their head. 43They struck the remnant of the survivors belonging to Amalek and dwelt there until this day.
