Chapter 23

You shall celebrate three feasts for me in the year.

You shall keep the Festival of Unleavened Bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month of Aviv—for in it you came out from Egypt. They shall not appear before you empty-handed.

the Festival of Harvest with the firstfruits of your works that you sow in the field, and the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather your works from the field.

Three times in the year every male of yours shall appear before the LORD.
18
You shall not sacrifice the blood of my sacrifices with leaven, and the fat of my festivals shall not remain until morning.
19
You shall bring the firstborn of your land to the house of the LORD your God. You shall not boil a kid in the milk of its mother.
