Mourning for the Pierced One and National Repentance
Zechariah 12:10-14
10And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of favor and supplications, and they will look to me whom they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and they will grieve for him as one grieves for a firstborn.11On that day the mourning will be great in Jerusalem, like the mourning for Hadad-rimmon in the valley of Megiddo.12And the land will mourn, family by family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself and their women by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself and their women by themselves.13The family of the house of Levi by itself and their women by themselves; the family of the Shimeite by itself and their women by themselves.14All the remaining families, family by family by itself, and their women by themselves.
