To the conductor; to the flutes; a melody of David.1Give ear to my words, O LORD; understand my meditation.2Give heed to the voice of my cry, my king and my God, for to you I pray.3O the LORD, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I arrange it for you and watch.4For you are not a God delighting in wickedness; evil may not sojourn with you.5The foolish will not stand before your eyes; you hate all who work evil.6You destroy those who speak lies; the LORD abhors the man of blood and deceit.7And I, through the abundance of your kindness, will come into your house; I will bow toward your holy temple in your fear.8O the LORD, lead me in your righteousness because of my enemies; make straight before me your way.9For there is nothing upright in his mouth; their inward parts are destruction; their throat is an open grave; they smooth their tongue.10Declare them guilty, O God; let them fall from their counsels; in the abundance of their transgressions banish them, for they have rebelled against you.11And let all who seek refuge in you rejoice; let them sing forever, and spread protection over them, and let those who love your name exult in you.12For you bless the righteous, O LORD; like a shield you surround him with favor.
