They placed their thresholds beside my thresholds and their doorposts beside my doorposts; with a wall between me and them they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they committed, and I have consumed them in my wrath. Now shall their whoring and the corpses of their kings be far from me, and I will dwell among them forever.
Son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the plan. And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the form of the house, its arrangement, its exits and its entrances, and all its form, and all its statutes and all its ordinances. Declare them to them and write them before their eyes, that they may keep the whole form of it and all its statutes and do them.
This is the law of the house: upon the top of the mountain all around shall be its boundary—holy of holies. Thus is the law of the house.
