1And he took me to the gate, the gate that faces the way of the east.2Behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east, and his voice was like the voice of many waters, and the earth shone from his glory.3And like the appearance of the vision which I saw, like the vision which I saw when I came to destroy the City, and visions like the vision which I saw at the River Chebar, and I fell on my face.4And the glory of the LORD came to the house by way of the gate whose face was toward the east.5And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the inner court, and behold, the house was full of the glory of the LORD.6Then I heard someone speaking to me from the house, and the man was standing beside me.7He said to me, "Son of Adam, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel forever. They shall not defile my holy name anymore, neither they nor their kings, by their cultic prostitution or by the carcasses of their kings at their deaths."8When they set their threshold alongside my threshold and their doorposts next to my doorposts, with only a wall between me and them, they defiled my holy name with all their abominations that they did, and I consumed them in my anger.9Now let them put far away their spiritual unfaithfulness/prostitution and the carcasses of their kings from me, and I will dwell in their midst for eternal possession.10You, son of Adam, declare to the house of Israel the house, and they will be ashamed of their dwellings, and they will measure the pattern.11And if they have been disgraced from all that they have done, the cosmic of the house and its pattern and its exits and its entrances and all its cosmic and all its statutes and all its cosmics and all its Torahs, make them know and write before their eyes, and they will keep all its cosmic and all its statutes and do them.12This is the Torah of the house. On the top of the mountain, all its boundary all around—all around—is the holy of holies. Behold, this is the Torah of the house.
