42A man came from Baal Shalishah to the man of God with bread of firstfruits—twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears in his sack. He said, "Give it to the people that they may eat."43His servant said, "What is this that I give before a hundred men?" He said, "Give it to the people and they will eat, for thus the LORD said, 'Eat and have surplus.'"44He set it before them, and they ate, and there was excess according to the word of the LORD.
