1And Moses said to the sons of Israel all that the LORD had commanded him.2Moses spoke to the heads of the staffs of the sons of Israel, saying, "This is the word that the LORD commanded."3If a man vows a vow to the LORD or swears an oath to bind a binding upon his nephesh, he shall not profane his word. According to all that proceeds from his mouth, he shall do.4And if a woman vows a vow to the LORD and binds a binding in the house of her father in her youth.5And her father hears her vow and her restraint that she restrained upon her soul, and her father is silent to her, and all her vows stand and every restraint that she restrained upon her soul stands.6And if her father nullifies them on the day he hears all her vows and her bindings that she bound upon her soul, they shall not stand, and the LORD will forgive her, for her father nullified her.7And if she was bound to a man, and her vows upon her or utterance of her lips which she bound upon her nephesh.8And her husband heard on the day of his hearing and kept silent to her, and her vows stood and her bindings which she bound upon her soul shall stand.9But if, on the day her husband hears of it, he prevents her and nullifies her vow that is upon her and the utterance of her lips that she bound upon her soul, then the LORD will forgive her.10And the vow of a widow and a divorced woman—all that she has bound upon her nephesh shall stand upon her.11And if a woman in her house vows or imposes a binding upon her nephesh with an oath.12And her husband heard and was silent toward her. He did not nullify her, and all her vows and every bond that she bound upon her nephesh shall stand.13And if he nullifies them, a wife on the day of his hearing all the utterance of her lips for her vows and for binding her nephesh—the wife shall not uphold them; the LORD will forgive her.14Every vow and every oath to afflict the soul of a woman—he will confirm it, and a woman will break it.15But if he is silent toward her, day after day, then he upholds all her vows or all her bindings that are upon her. He upholds them, for he was silent toward her on the day he heard them.16If he makes them void after they have heard them, he shall bear their iniquity.
