9The voice of the LORD will call to the city, and wisdom will fear your name: Hear the rod and who appointed it.10Still the fire of the temple, wicked treasuries, wicked and scant ephah.11Shall I be justified with wicked scales and with a bag of stones of deceit?12For her rich ones are filled with violence, and her inhabitants have spoken falsehood, and their tongue is deceit in their mouth.13And I have also profaned your striking, desolating over your sin.14You will eat and not be satisfied, and it will hunger in your midst, and you will be hemmed in and not deliver, and what you deliver I will give to the sword.15You will sow but not reap; you will tread olives but not pour out oil, and new wine but not drink wine.16And you will keep the statutes of Omri and all the deeds of the house of Ahab, and you will walk in their counsels, in order that I may give you to hissing and its inhabitants to a whistle, and you will bear the reproach of my people.
