Chapter 3
21
And at that time I commanded Joshua, saying, "Your eyes have seen all that the LORD your God has done to these two kings; so the LORD will do to all the kingdoms over which you are crossing there."
22
You shall not fear them, for the LORD your God is the one fighting for you.
23
And I besought the LORD at that time, saying:
24
Lord LORD, you have begun to show your servant your greatness and your strong hand. Which god in the heavens or on earth will do deeds like your deeds and might like your might?
25
Let me cross over, please, and see the good land that is across the Jordan, this good mountain and the Lebanon.
26
And the LORD was angry with me on account of you and would not listen to me. And the LORD said to me, "Enough for you! Do not add to speak to me anymore about this matter."
27
Go up to the head of the Pisgah and lift up your eyes seaward and northward and southward and eastward, and see with your eyes, for you will not cross this Jordan.
28
And command Joshua and strengthen him and encourage him, for he will cross before this people, and he will cause them to inherit the land that you will see.
29
And we dwelt in the valley opposite Beth-peor.
