12Thus says the Lord GOD: Because Edom acted by taking vengeance on the house of Judah, they became guilty, and they took vengeance on them,13therefore thus says the Lord GOD: I will stretch out my hand upon Edom and cut off from it man and animal, and I will make it a desolation; from Teman to Dedan they will fall by the sword,14and I will place my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they will act toward Edom according to my anger and according to my rage, and they will know my vengeance, utterance of the Lord GOD.
