1Solomon spent thirteen years building his house, and he finished all his house.2He built the house of the wood of Lebanon: one hundred cubits its length, fifty cubits its width, and thirty cubits its height, upon four rows of cedar pillars with cedar beams upon the pillars.3It was covered with cedar above, upon the sides that were upon the pillars—forty-five beams, five to each row.4There were three rows of frames, and window opposite window three times.5All the entrances and the doorposts were squared with frames, and window opposite window three times.6He made the hall of the pillars: fifty cubits its length and thirty cubits its width, with a hall upon their front and pillars and a threshold upon their front.7He made the hall of the throne where he would judge, the hall of justice, and it was covered with cedar from the floor to the floor.8His house where he would dwell there had another court beyond the house beside the hall, like this work; and he would make a house for Pharaoh's daughter whom Solomon had taken, like this hall.9All these stones were precious stones according to the measures of dressed stone, sawn with the saw inside and outside, from the foundation to the handbreadths, and from outside to the great court.10Costly stones were laid as foundation, large stones, stones of ten cubits and stones of eight cubits.11Above were costly stones according to the measures of dressed stone, and cedar.12The great court was surrounded by three rows of dressed stone and a row of cedar beams, and likewise for the inner court of the house of the LORD and the hall of the house.
