Chapter 9

And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Take for yourselves full handfuls of soot from a furnace." And Moses threw it toward the heavens before Pharaoh's eyes.

And it will be dust on all the land of Egypt, and it will be on man and on the livestock a boil erupting blisters in all the land of Egypt.
10
And they took soot from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh. And Moses threw it toward the heavens, and it became a scab erupting with blisters on man and on livestock.
11
The magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians and on all Egypt.
12
And the LORD strengthened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not listen to them just as the LORD had spoken to Moses.
