Chapter 7

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying.
23
Speak to the sons of Israel, saying: You shall not eat the fat of any ox, lamb, or goat.
24
The fat of a carcass and the fat of that torn by beasts may be used for any work, but you shall not eat it.
25
For whoever eats the fat portions from the beast which one presents from it as an offering to the LORD, that nephesh will be cut off from her people.
26
You shall not eat any blood in all your dwelling-places, whether from fowl or beast.
27
Every nephesh that eats any blood, that nephesh will be cut off from her people.
