Altar Design and Sacrificial Regulations

Ezekiel 43:13-27
13And these are the measurements of the altar in cubits: a cubit and a cubit and a handbreadth; the bosom of the cubit and a cubit of width, and its border to its lips all around by one span; and this is the back of the altar. 14And from the bosom of the land to the lower enclosure, two cubits, and the width one cubit; and from the small enclosure to the great enclosure, four cubits, and the width the cubit. 15And the altar is four cubits, and from the altar upward the horns are four. 16And the altar is twelve cubits in length by twelve cubits in width, squared to its four sides. 17And the enclosure is fourteen cubits in length by fourteen cubits in width to its four sides; and the border around it is half a cubit, and the bosom around it is a cubit, and its steps turn east. 18And he said to me, "Son of man, thus says the Lord GOD: These are the statutes of the altar on the day it is made, to offer a burnt offering upon it and to sprinkle blood upon it." 19And you shall give to the priests, the Levites who are from the seed of Zadok, who draw near to me to minister to me, declares the Lord GOD, a bullock, for a sin offering. 20And you shall take some of its blood and put it on its four horns and on the four corners of the enclosure and on the border around it; and you shall purify it and make atonement for it. 21And you shall take the bullock of the sin offering and burn it at the muster of the house outside the sanctuary. 22And on the second day you shall present an unblemished male goat for a sin offering, and they shall purify the altar just as they purified it with the bullock. 23When you have finished making atonement, you shall present an unblemished bullock, and an unblemished ram from the flock. 24You shall present them before the LORD, and the priests shall throw salt on them and offer them up as a burnt offering to the LORD. 25For seven days you shall offer a sin-offering he-goat each day, and they shall offer an unblemished bullock, and an unblemished ram from the flock. 26For seven days they shall make atonement for the altar and purify it and fill its hands. 27When the days are completed, on the eighth day and thereafter the priests shall offer your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on the altar, and I will accept you, declares the Lord GOD.
