1When you cause the land to fall as an inheritance, you shall raise a contribution to the LORD as holiness from the land, twenty-five thousand in length and ten thousand in width; it shall be holiness within all its surrounding border.2From this point toward the holiness there shall be five hundred by five hundred, squared around, and fifty cubits of pasture around it.3From this measure you shall measure length: twenty-five thousand and width: ten thousand, and within it the sanctuary shall be, holiness of holinesses.4It shall be holiness from the land for the priests ministering in the sanctuary, those approaching to serve the LORD; it shall become for them a place for houses and a sanctuary for the sanctuary.5Twenty-five thousand in length and ten thousand in width shall belong to the Levites ministering in the house, as a possession for them: twenty chambers.6You shall give the possession of the city five thousand in width and twenty-five thousand in length, adjacent to the contribution of the holiness; it shall belong to the entire house of Israel.7To the leader shall belong portions on both sides of the contribution of the holiness and of the possession of the city, facing the contribution of the holiness and facing the possession of the city, from the western side to the sea and from the eastern side to the east; the length shall run parallel to one of the portions from the sea border to the eastern border.8The land shall belong to him as a possession in Israel, and my leaders shall no longer oppress my people; the land shall be given to the house of Israel according to their tribes.9Thus says the Lord GOD: Enough for you, O leaders of Israel; remove violence and plunder, and practice justice and righteousness; lift your evictions from my people, declares the Lord GOD.10You shall have balances of righteousness, an ephah of righteousness, and a bath of righteousness.11The ephah and the bath shall be of one quantity, so that a tenth of the homer may be taken from the bath and a tenth of the homer from the ephah; the tally shall correspond to the homer.12The shekel shall be twenty gerahs; twenty shekels plus twenty-five shekels plus fifteen shekels shall constitute the mina for you.
