And you shall give the possession of the city five thousand in breadth and twenty-five thousand in length; this shall be a holy contribution to the LORD and shall belong to the whole house of Israel. And to the prince shall be from this and from that—for the holy contribution and for the possession of the city—in front of the holy contribution and in front of the possession of the city: on the west by the sea and on the east by the eastern side. The length of one of the portions shall be from the sea border to the eastern border.
It shall be his possession in Israel; and the princes shall no more oppress my people, and the land shall be apportioned to the house of Israel according to their tribes. Thus says the Lord GOD: Enough, you princes of Israel! Put away violence and plunder; practice justice and righteousness; remove your exactions from my people, says the Lord GOD.
You shall have just scales, a just ephah, and a just bath.
Let the ephah and the bath be of one measure: the ephah shall be one-tenth of a homer, and the bath one-tenth of a homer; that shall be the standard measure. And the shekel shall be twenty gerahs. Twenty shekels, twenty-five shekels—the maneh shall be your standard.
