29The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, the one who takes away the sin of the world."30This is he of whom I said, 'After me comes a man who ranks before me, because he was before me.'31I myself did not know him, but for this reason I came baptizing with water, so that he might be revealed to Israel.32And John testified, saying, "I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and it remained upon him."33I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'The one upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining, this is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.'34And I have seen and have testified that this is the Chosen One of God.
