16No one, after lighting a lamp, covers it with a vessel or places it under a bed, but places it on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light.17For nothing is hidden that will not become clear, nor anything concealed that will not be known; rather, it will come into the open.18Therefore pay attention to how you listen. For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who does not have, even what he supposes he has will be taken away.
