Psalm 141:1-10

Chapter 141
A psalm. Of David. O LORD, I call to you; come quickly to me; give ear to my voice when I call to you. 1 Let my prayer be set forth as incense before you, the lifting up of my hands as the evening offering. 2 May my prayer be set as incense before you; the lifting up of my hands as the evening offering. 3 LORD, do not set my heart to evil matters to practice deeds of wickedness with men, workers of iniquity, and do not let me eat of their delicacies. 4 Do not incline my heart to a word of evil, to act perversely in the wondrous deeds of the wicked, with men, doers of iniquity; and do not let me eat of their delicacies. 5 Let their judges slip away upon the hands of a cliff, and let them hear my words, for they are pleasant. And my prayer upon their moral evils or theirs. 6 Their judges have fallen by the hand of the Rock; they heard my words because they were pleasant. 7 For to you, the LORD my Lord, my eyes are toward you; I have trusted. Do not pour out my soul. Like plowing and breaking open the earth, their bones are scattered at the mouth of the Underworld. 8 Keep me from the hands of the net they lay for me, and from the snares of the workers of iniquity. 9 Keep me from the hand of the trap which the workers of iniquity lay for me, lest the wicked fall into his nets together while I pass by.
