Psalm 142

Psalm 142:1-7
A Maskil of David, when he was in the cave; a prayer. 1I cry out my voice to the LORD; I plead for grace with my voice to the LORD. 2I pour out my complaint before his face; I tell my distress before his face. 3When my spirit grows faint upon me, you know my path; in the way that I walk they have hidden a snare for me. 4Look to the right and see; there is no one who recognizes me; my refuge has perished from me; there is no one who seeks my soul. 5I cry out to you, the LORD; I say, you are my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. 6Give attention to my cry, for I am greatly languishing; deliver me from my pursuers, for they are stronger than I. 7Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name; the righteous will gather around me, for you will deal bountifully with me.
