15Thus says the Lord GOD: Because the Philistines have done vengeance and have taken vengeance with scorn upon a soul for destruction, an enmity forever,16Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and I will cause the remnant of the coast of the sea to perish.17And I will execute great acts of vengeance upon them with rebukes of rage, and they shall know that I am the LORD when I place my vengeance upon them.
