The Tent of Meeting

Exodus 33:7-11
7Moses took the tent and stretched it outside the camp, removing it from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. Everyone who sought the LORD would come out to the tent of meeting, which was outside the camp. 8Whenever Moses came out to the tent, all the people would rise and stand, each man at the entrance of his tent, and they would look after Moses until his arrival at the tent. 9Whenever Moses came to the tent, the pillar of the cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent and speak with Moses. 10All the people saw the pillar of the cloud standing at the entrance of the tent; then all the people would rise and bow down, each man at the entrance of his tent. 11The LORD spoke with Moses face to face, just as a man speaks with his neighbor. Moses would return to the camp, but his attendant Joshua son of Nun, a youth, did not depart from the midst of the tent.
