1For the sake of Zion I will not keep silent, and for the sake of Jerusalem I will not remain quiet, until her righteousness goes forth like brightness and her salvation like a burning torch.2The nations will see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory; and you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will designate.3You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a turban of kingship in the palm of your God.4No longer will you be called Forsaken, and no longer will your land be called Desolate; but you will be called Hephzibah, and your land will be called Married, for the LORD delights in you and your land will be married.5For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you; and as a bridegroom rejoices over a bride, so your God will rejoice over you.6On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they will continually not be silent. You who remember the LORD, give yourselves no rest.7And give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth.8The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by the arm of his strength: I will no longer give your grain as food to your enemies, nor will the sons of a foreigner drink your new wine for which you have labored.9For those who gather it will eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather it will drink it in the courts of my holiness.10Go through, go through the gates; prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway; clear it of stones; raise a banner over the nations.11Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his wages are with him, and his recompense is before him.12And they shall be called The Holy People, The Redeemed of the LORD; and you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.
