29You shall reckon the sons of Merari by their families and by the house of their fathers.30You shall reckon them from thirty years old and upward to fifty years old, everyone who comes into the service to perform the work of the tent of meeting.31This is the duty of their burden for all their service in the tent of meeting: the boards of the tabernacle, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets.32The pillars of the court all around with their sockets, their pegs, and their cords belong to all their articles and to all their service; you shall list by name the articles of the duty of their burden.33This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari for all their service in the tent of meeting under the supervision of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.
