A Living Sacrifice and the Diversity of Gifts

Romans 12:1-8

12
Chapter 12
1 I exhort you therefore, brothers and sisters, through the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living, holy sacrifice, acceptable to God—your rational worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewal of the mind, so that you may prove what is the will of God: the good, pleasing, and perfect. 3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone being among you not to think too highly than it is necessary to think, but to think so as to be sober-minded, to each as God has divided a measure of faith. 4 For just as in one body we have many members, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 In this way we, the many, are one body in Christ, but the one according to one another members. 6 having but spiritual gifts according to the grace given to us, different—whether prophecy according to the proportion of the faith, 7 or service in the service, or the one teaching in the teaching, 8 or the one exhorting in exhortation, the one sharing in simplicity, the one leading in diligence, the one showing mercy in cheerfulness.
