The Glorious Restoration of the Redeemed

Isaiah 35:1-10
1The wilderness and the dryness will rejoice, and the Arabah will rejoice and sprout like the crocus. 2It will indeed sprout and rejoice with rejoicing and singing; the glory of Lebanon has been given to it, the glory of Carmel and of Lasharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the glory of our God. 3Strengthen weak hands and stumbling knees. 4Say to those hastening of heart: Be strong; do not fear; behold, your God comes with vengeance, the recompense of God; he comes and saves you. 5Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be opened. 6Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will sing; for waters have broken forth in the wilderness and torrents in the Arabah. 7The scorching will become a pool, and the parched will become springs of water; in the pasture of jackals their rest will be grass, with branch and reed. 8A highway will be there, and a way, and the way of holiness will be called to it; the unclean will not pass over it, and it will be for those walking the way; fools will not go astray. 9No lion will be there, and no violent living thing will ascend it; it will not be found there, and the redeemed will walk there. 10The ransomed of the LORD will return and come to Zion with cry, and everlasting joy upon their head; rejoicing and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee.
