Deuteronomy

Weeks

Chapter 16
9 You shall count seven weeks for yourself. Begin to count seven weeks from the time you first put the sickle to the standing grain. 10 You shall keep the Festival of Weeks for the LORD your God with a freewill offering from your hand in proportion to the blessing the LORD your God has given you. 11 You shall rejoice before the LORD your God—you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite within your gates, the resident alien, the orphan, and the widow who are among you—at the place where the LORD your God will choose to make his name dwell. 12 Remember that you were a servant in Egypt, and keep and do these statutes.
