1Observe the month of Abib and make the Passover to the LORD your God, for in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you out from Egypt at night.2You shall sacrifice the Passover to the LORD your God, flock and cattle, at the place that the LORD will choose to make his name dwell there.3You shall not eat leaven upon it; seven days you shall eat unleavened bread upon it, bread of affliction, for in haste you came out from the land of Egypt, so that you may remember the day of your coming out from the land of Egypt all the days of your life.4No leaven shall be seen with you in all your border seven days, and none of the flesh that you sacrifice in the evening on the first day shall lodge until morning.5You shall not be able to sacrifice the Passover at one of your gates that the LORD your God is giving you.6Except at the place that the LORD your God will choose to make his name dwell there you shall sacrifice the Passover in the evening at the coming of the sun, at the appointed time of your coming out from Egypt.7You shall boil it and eat it at the place that the LORD your God will choose, and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents.8Six days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day an assembly to the LORD your God; you shall not do work.
