13Who is wise and knowing among you? Let him show his works from his good behaviour in the gentleness of wisdom.14But if you have bitter zeal and rivalry in your heart, do not boast and do not lie against the truth.15This is not the wisdom descending from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.16For where there is zeal and rivalry, there is disorder and every evil thing.17But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, and genuine.18And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
