1And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,2Make two silver trumpets of beaten work for yourself; you shall make them, and they shall be for you for summoning the congregation and for the journeys of the camps.3When you blow them, all the congregation shall gather to you at the entrance of the tent of meeting.4If they blow with only one, then the leaders, the heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather to you.5When you blow a shout, the camps encamped to the east shall set out.6When you blow a shout a second time, the camps encamped to the south shall set out; a shout shall be blown for their journeys.7When you gather the assembly, you shall blow but you shall not sound a shout.8The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets, and it shall be for you a statute forever throughout your generations.9When you go to war in your land against the enemy who attacks you, you shall sound a shout with the trumpets, and you shall be remembered before the LORD your God and delivered from your enemies.10On your day of rejoicing, on your appointed festivals, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; they shall be for you a memorial before your God. I am the LORD your God.
