Psalm 25:1-22

Chapter 25
A psalm of David. To you, LORD, I lift up my soul. 1 To David. To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. 2 My God, in you I have trusted; let me not be ashamed. Let not my enemies rejoice over me, the traitors in vain. 3 LORD, make your ways known to me; teach me your paths. 4 Make me know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth, for you are my God of salvation; you I have hoped in all the day. 5 Remember your mercies, O LORD, and your lovingkindnesses, for they have been from everlasting. 6 Sins of my youth and my transgressions—do not remember them. According to your divine mercy and your divine steadfast love, which are from everlasting, remember me—you, the LORD—for the sake of your goodness. 7 The LORD is good and upright; therefore he teaches sinners in the way. 8 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he teaches sinners in his way. 9 All the ways of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth to those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. 10 All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and truth to those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. 11 Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he chooses. 12 Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he chooses. His soul will lodge in good, and his seed will inherit the land. 13 The secret of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he will make his covenant known to them. 14 The secret of the LORD is for those who fear him, and his covenant, to make them know. 15 My eyes are continually on you; be gracious to me, for I am lonely and poor. 16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am poor and oppressed. 17 See the distresses of my heart; make wide from my straits; bring me out from all my sins. 18 See my affliction and my toil, and forgive all my sins. 19 See my enemies, for they are many, and those who hate me with violent hatred. Preserve my life and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I have trusted in you. 20 Guard my soul and deliver me; do not let me be ashamed, for I have taken refuge in you. 21 Integrity and uprightness will keep me, for I have hoped in you. Redeem Israel, O God, from all his troubles.
