Psalm 103:1-104:22
1Of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all my inward parts, bless his holy name. 2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits. 3He forgives all your iniquity; he heals all your diseases. 4He redeems your life from the pit; he crowns you with steadfast love and compassion. 5He satisfies you with good, and your youth is renewed like the eagle. 6The LORD does righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. 7He made his ways known to Moses, his deeds to the sons of Israel. 8The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and great in steadfast love. 9He will not contend forever, nor will he keep his anger forever. 10He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor has he repaid us according to our iniquities. 11For as the heavens are high above the earth, so his steadfast love prevails over those who fear him. 12As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. 13As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him. 14For he himself knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust. 15Man is like grass in his days; like a flower of the field, so he blossoms. 16For the wind passes over it, and it is not; its place no longer recognizes it. 17But the steadfast love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear him, and his righteousness to children's children. 18To those who keep his covenant and remember his precepts to do them. 19The LORD has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. 20Bless the LORD, you his angels, mighty ones of strength who do his word, listening to the voice of his word. 21Bless the LORD, all his hosts, his ministers who do his will. 22Bless the LORD, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul.
Chapter 104
1Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, you are greatly magnified; you are clothed with splendor and glory. 2You wrap yourself with light as with a garment; you stretch out the heavens like a curtain. 3You lay beams in the waters for your upper rooms; you set the clouds as your chariot; you go upon the wings of the wind. 4You make your messengers spirits, your ministers a flaming fire. 5You founded the earth upon its foundations; it will not be shaken forever and ever. 6You covered the deep as with clothing; waters stood upon the mountains. 7At your rebuke they flee; at the sound of your thunder they hurry away. 8Mountains ascend, valleys descend to the place you founded for them. 9You set a border that they may not cross; they will not return to cover the earth. 10You send springs into the streams; they go between the mountains. 11They water every animal of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst. 12Upon them the birds of the heavens dwell; from among the branches they give voice. 13You water the mountains from your upper rooms; from the fruit of your works the earth is satisfied. 14You cause grass to spring up for the animal and vegetation for the service of man, to bring forth food from the earth. 15And wine to make the heart of man rejoice, to make the face shine from oil, and food to support the heart of man. 16The trees of the LORD are satisfied, the cedars of Lebanon that he planted. 17Where the birds make their nests; the stork has her house in the cypresses. 18The high mountains are for the wild goats; the rocks are a refuge for the rock badgers. 19He made the moon for appointed times; the sun knows its entrance. 20You set darkness, and night comes; in it all the living things of the wood creep about. 21The young lions roar for prey and seek their food from God. 22The sun rises, they gather and lie down in their habitations.
