Chapter 34
1
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

Command the sons of Israel and say to them: When you come to the land of Canaan, this is the land that falls to you as inheritance, the land of Canaan with its borders.
3
Your south side shall be from the Wilderness of Zin along the border of Edom, and your southern border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea on the east.
4
It will turn from the south boundary upward to the briers, and it will pass by Tsenah. Its goings out will be from the south to the holy place of Barnea, and it will go out to Court-Adar, and it will pass Atzmonah.

And the boundary will turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and its exits will be the sea.

The border will be the Sea, and it will be your Great Sea for you. And this border will be your border of the Sea.
7
This shall be your northern border, from the Great Sea. You shall mark out Mount Hor for yourselves.
8
From Mount Hor it will extend to come to Hamath, and they will be the going out of the boundary on its side.
9
And the boundary went out to Ziphron, and its exits were Hazar-enan. This shall be your northern boundary.
10
You shall mark out your eastern border from the courtyard of En from Hazar-Enan.
11
And the boundary descended from Shepham to the ridge of Riblah east of Ain, and the boundary descended and went out on the shoulder of the Sea of Chinnereth eastward.

It went down along the border of the Jordan, and its goings out were at the Salt Sea. This will be your land according to its borders all around.

Moses commanded the sons of Israel, saying, "This is the land that you shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give to the nine tribes and the half tribe."
14
For the tribe of the sons of Reuben according to their fathers' houses, the tribe of the sons of Gad according to their fathers' houses, and half the tribe of Manasseh took their inheritance.
15
The two tribes and the half tribe have taken their inheritance beyond the Jordan eastward toward Jericho from the east.

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

These are the names of the men who will inherit the land for you: Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun.
18
And you shall take one prince, a prince from each tribe, to inherit the land.
19
These are the names of the men from the tribe of Judah: Caleb son of Jephunneh.
20
For the tribe of the sons of Simeon: Shemuel son of Ammihud.
21
For the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon.
22
And for the tribe of the sons of Dan, the prince Bakki son of Yagli.
23
To the sons of Joseph, to the tribe, the sons of Manasseh: Prince Haniel son of Ephod.
24
And to the tribe, the sons of Ephraim, the prince Kamuel son of Shiphtan.
25
For the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, the prince was Elitsaphan son of Parnach.
26
For the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince Paltiel son of Azzan.
27
And for the tribe of the sons of Asher, the prince Ahihud son of Shelomi.
28
And for the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel son of Ammihud.
29
These are those whom the LORD commanded to allot to the sons of Israel in the land of Canaan.
