13Thus says the Lord GOD: This is the border by which you shall inherit the land for the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph and cords.14You shall inherit it, a man like his brother, which I lifted up my hand to give to your fathers, and the land shall fall to you as an inheritance.15This is the border of the land on the northern side: from the great sea along the way of Hethlon and Bo as far as the entrance of Zedad.16Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which lie between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazer-hatticon, which lies toward the border of Hauran.17The border shall run from the sea at Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus, and northward, and the border of Hamath, and the northern side.18The eastern side shall run from between Hauran and Damascus, and from between Gilead and the land of Israel, along the Jordan; from the border on the eastern sea you shall measure, and the eastern side.19The southern side shall run southward from Tamar as far as the waters of Meriboth Kadesh, the torrent, to the great sea, and the southern side, the Negeb.20The western side shall be the great sea from the border as far as a point opposite the entrance of Bo and Hamath; this is the western side.21You shall divide this land among you according to the tribes of Israel.22It shall be that you cause it to fall as an inheritance to you and to the sojourners who sojourn among you, who have begotten sons among you, and they shall be to you as native-born among the sons of Israel; with you they shall fall in inheritance in the midst of the tribes of Israel.23It shall be that in the tribe with which the sojourner has sojourned, there you shall give his inheritance, declares the Lord GOD.
