And you shall weave the checkered tunic of fine linen, and you shall make a turban of fine linen, and a sash you shall make, the work of an embroiderer. And for the sons of Aaron you shall make tunics, and you shall make for them sashes, and caps you shall make for them, for glory and for splendor. And you shall clothe them—Aaron your brother and his sons with him—and you shall anoint them and ordain them, and consecrate them, and they shall serve as priests to me. And you shall make for them linen undergarments to cover the flesh of nakedness; from the loins to the thighs they shall reach. And they shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they come into the tent of meeting, or when they approach the altar to minister in the sanctuary, so that they do not bear guilt and die; it shall be a perpetual statute for him and for his offspring after him.
