31You shall make the robe of the ephod entirely of blue.32Its head opening shall be in its midst. There shall be a lip around its opening. It shall be the work of a weaver, like the opening of a breastplate; it shall not be torn.33You shall make upon its hem pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet all around, and bells of gold in their midst all around.34A bell of gold and a pomegranate, a bell of gold and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe all around.35It shall be upon Aaron for ministering, and its sound shall be heard when he comes into the holy place before the LORD and when he goes out, so that he does not die.36You shall make a pure gold flower and engrave on it the engravings of a signet: Holiness to the LORD.37You shall set it on a blue cord, and it shall be upon the turban toward the front of the turban.38It shall be on Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things that the sons of Israel consecrate as all their holy gifts; it shall be on his forehead continually for acceptance for them before the LORD.39You shall weave the tunic of linen. You shall make a linen turban, and you shall make a girdle as woven work.40For the sons of Aaron you shall make tunics, and you shall make girdles for them, and you shall make headgear for them, for glory and for beauty.41You shall clothe Aaron your brother and his sons with him, and you shall anoint them, fill their hands, consecrate them, and they shall minister to me.42You shall make linen undergarments for them to cover the flesh of nakedness from the loins to the thighs.43They shall be upon Aaron and his sons when they come into the tent of meeting or approach the altar to minister in the holy place, so that they do not bear iniquity and die. It shall be a statute forever for him and for his seed after him.
