29And it came to pass when Moses went down from Mount Sinai, with the two tablets of the testimony in Moses' hand, that when he came down from the mount Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because he had spoken with him.30When Aaron and all the sons of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to approach him.31Moses called to them, so Aaron and all the leaders of the congregation returned to him, and Moses spoke to them.32Afterward all the sons of Israel approached, and Moses commanded them everything that the LORD had spoken with him on Mount Sinai.33When Moses had finished speaking with them, he placed a veil over his face.34Whenever Moses entered the presence of the LORD to speak with him, he removed the veil until he came out; then he would come out and speak to the sons of Israel what he had been commanded.35The sons of Israel saw the face of Moses, because the skin of Moses' face shone, and Moses would replace the veil over his face until he went in to speak with him.
