28To Kedar and to the kingdoms of Hazor that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck, the LORD says: "Arise, go up to Kedar and plunder the sons of the East."29They will take their tents and their flocks, their tent cloths and all their utensils. They will carry their camels away from them, and they will call terror upon them from all around.30Flee! Wander greatly! Deepen to dwell, O inhabitants of Hazor—declares the LORD—for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has counseled against you a counsel, and has reckoned against you a thought.31Rise up, go up against a nation at rest, dwelling securely—oracle of the LORD. No doors, no bars for it; alone it dwells.32And their camels will be for plunder, and the multitude of their livestock for spoil, and their dispersions to every wind, shorn-of-side, and from all its sides I will bring their calamity, utterance of the LORD.33And Hazor will become a dwelling of jackals, a desolation forever; no man will dwell there, and no son of Adam will sojourn in it.
