Psalm 46

Psalm 46:1-11
To the conductor. For the sons of Korah. Upon Alamoth. A song. 1God is our refuge and strength, a help found much in distress. 2Therefore we will not fear when the land changes and when the mountains shake in the heart of the seas. 3The seas roar; they agitate his waters; the mountains shake in his pride. Selah. 4A river—his streams—makes glad the city of God, the holy tabernacles of the Most High. 5God is in her midst; she will not be shaken; God will help her at the turning of morning. 6The nations roared; the kingdoms shook; he gave forth his voice; the land melts. 7The LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is a high refuge for us. Selah. 8Come and see the deeds of the LORD, which he has set as horrors in the land. 9He makes battles cease to the end of the land; he breaks the bow and cuts the spear; he burns the carts in fire. 10Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the land. 11The LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is a high refuge for us. Selah.
