Chapter 10

And Joshua passed, and all Israel with him, from Makkedah to Libnah, and he fought against Libnah.
30
The LORD also gave it into the hand of Israel and its king. He struck with the edge of the sword every person in it; he left no survivor in it. And he did to its king as he had done to the king of Jericho.
31
Joshua crossed over, and all Israel with him, from Libnah to Lachish. He encamped against it and fought against it.
32
And the LORD gave Lachish into the hand of Israel, and they captured it on the second day and struck it with the edge of the sword, every person in it, just as they had done to Libnah.
33
Then Horam, king of Gezer, went up to help Lachish, and Joshua struck him and his people until he left him no survivor.

Joshua crossed over, and all Israel with him, from Lachish to Eglon, and they encamped against it and fought against it.
35
He captured it on that day and struck it by the mouth of the sword, and the whole vital life force that was in it on that day he devoted to destruction, just as he had done to Lachish.

And Joshua went up, and all Israel with him, from Eglon to Hebron, and they fought against it.
37
And he captured it and struck it with the mouth of the sword, even its king and all its cities and all the soul that was in it; he did not leave a survivor, just as he had done to Eglon, and he devoted it to destruction and all the soul that was in it.
38
And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to Debir, and he fought against it.
39
They captured it and its king and all its cities, and they struck them with the mouth of the sword, and they devoted to destruction every vital life force that was in it; they left no survivor, just as he had done to Hebron, so they did to Debir and its king, and just as he had done to Libnah and its king.
40
And Joshua struck the whole land, the hill country and the Negeb and the Shephelah and the Ashdod region and all their kings; he left no survivor, and he devoted every soul to destruction just as the LORD God of Israel commanded.
41
And Joshua struck them from Kadesh-barnea to Gaza, and all the land of Goshen, and to Gibeon.
42
And all these kings and their land Joshua captured at one time, for the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.
43
Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to the camp at Gilgal.
