35And Jesus went around all the cities and all the villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every illness and every sickness.36And seeing the crowds, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep not having a shepherd.37Then he says to his disciples, The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.38Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest that he may send out workers into his harvest.
