15Simon Peter followed Jesus, and another disciple. That disciple was acquainted with the high priest and entered with Jesus into the courtyard of the high priest.16Peter stood outside at the door. Therefore the other disciple who was acquainted with the high priest went out, spoke to the gatekeeper, and brought Peter in.17The maidservant who was the gatekeeper therefore said to Peter, "Are you not also one of the disciples of this man?" He said, "I am not."18The slaves and the servants had made a charcoal fire because it was cold, and they were warming themselves. Peter was also with them, standing and warming himself.
