25And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,26Take the head of the prey of the captivity, among people and among animals—you and Eleazar the priest and the heads of the fathers of the congregation.27And divide the prey between those who took part in the battle, who went out to the army, and between all the congregation.28And set apart a tribute to the LORD from the men of the battle who went out to the army: one soul from five hundred, from the people and from the cattle and from the donkeys and from the flock.29From their half you shall take and give to Eleazar the priest the contribution of the LORD.30And from the half of the sons of Israel you shall take one seized from fifty, from the people, from the cattle, from the donkeys, and from the flock—from all the animals—and give them to the Levites who keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.31And Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the LORD commanded Moses.32And the prey, the remainder of the plunder that the people of the army had plundered, was 675,000 sheep,33and 72,000 cattle,34and 61,000 donkeys,35and the souls of people, from the women who had not known the bed of a male, all the souls were 32,000.36And the half, the portion of those who went out to the army, the number of the sheep was 337,500,37and the tribute to the LORD from the sheep was 675.38And the cattle were 36,000, and their tribute to the LORD was 72.39And the donkeys were 30,500, and their tribute to the LORD was 61.40And the souls of people were 16,000, and their tribute to the LORD was 32 souls.41And Moses gave the tribute, the contribution of the LORD, to Eleazar the priest, as the LORD commanded Moses.42And from the half of the sons of Israel that Moses had divided from the men who served in the army,43the half of the congregation was, from the sheep, 337,500,44and 36,000 cattle,45and 30,500 donkeys,46and 16,000 souls of people.47And Moses took from the half of the sons of Israel the one seized from fifty, from the people and from the animals, and gave them to the Levites who keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.48And the officers who were over the thousands of the army, the commanders of thousands and the commanders of hundreds, came near to Moses49and said to Moses, "Your servants have taken the head of the men of the battle who are in our hand, and not one man is missing from us.50And we have brought the offering of the LORD, what each man found, articles of gold—armlets and bracelets, signet rings, earrings, and necklaces—to make atonement for our souls before the LORD."51And Moses and Eleazar the priest took from them all the gold articles, all the crafted work.52And all the gold of the contribution that they presented to the LORD was 16,750 shekels, from the commanders of thousands and from the commanders of hundreds.53The men of the army had plundered, each man for himself.54And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold from the commanders of thousands and of hundreds and brought it into the tent of meeting, a memorial for the sons of Israel before the LORD.
