1 Chronicles 27:1-15

Chapter 27

¹ And the sons of Israel, for their numbering: heads of the fathers and officers of the thousands and the hundreds and their officers, the ones serving the king for every matter of the divisions, the coming in and the going out, month by month, for all months of the year; the one division twenty-four thousand. ² Over the first division for the first month is Ibzan son of Zabdiel, and over his division are twenty-four thousand. ³ from the sons of Perez, the head of all the chiefs of the hosts for the first new moon. ⁴ And over the division of the second month: Dodai the Ahohite and his division, and the staffs of the leader, and over his division: twenty-four thousand. ⁵ The ruler of the army, the third for the third month, Benaiah son of Yehoyada the priest head, and over his division twenty-four thousand. ⁶ He is Benaiah the mighty man of the thirty and over the thirty, and his division Amizabad his son. ⁷ The fourth for the fourth month: Asahel brother of Joab and Zebadiah his son after him, and over his division twenty-four thousand. ⁸ The fifth for the fifth month: the ruler Shamhuth the Izrahite, and over his division twenty-four thousand. ⁹ The sixth for the sixth month: Ira son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, and over his division twenty-four thousand. ¹⁰ The seventh for the seventh month—Chaletz the Ploni from Beni Ephraim, and over his division twenty-four thousand. ¹¹ The eighth for the eighth month, Sibkhi the Hashshite for the Zerahite, and over his division twenty-four thousand. ¹² The ninth for the ninth month, Abiezer the Anathothite, the Benjaminite son, and over his division twenty-four thousand. ¹³ The tenth for the tenth month, from the mountains of Netophah to Zerahite, and over his division twenty-four thousand. ¹⁴ The twelfth for the twelfth month, Benaiah the Pirathonite from the sons of Ephraim, and over his division twenty-four thousand. ¹⁵ The twelfth for the twelfth month, Heldai the Netophathite of Othniel, and over his division twenty-four thousand.
