Zabdiel

Zabdiel is a biblical person named as the father of Jashobeam, who was over the first division for the first month; that division numbered twenty-four thousand (1 Chronicles 27:2).

Zabdiel is also identified as the son of Haggedolim and as overseer of brothers described as mighty men of valor, numbering one hundred twenty-eight (Nehemiah 11:14). His name occurs in at least two verses across 1 Chronicles and Nehemiah.
