Leviticus

Firstfruits

Chapter 23
9 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying. 10 Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them: When you come into the land that I am giving you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the omer, the beginning of your harvest, to the priest. 11 He shall wave the omer before the LORD for your acceptance, on the day after the Sabbath; the priest shall wave it. 12 On the day you wave the omer, you shall offer a lamb, unblemished, a year old, as a burnt offering to the LORD. 13 Its grain offering shall be two tenths of fine flour mixed with oil, a fire offering to the LORD, a soothing aroma, and its libation shall be a fourth of a hin of wine. 14 And you shall not eat bread or parched grain or fresh ears until this very same day, until you bring the offering of your God—a statute forever for your generations in all your dwelling places.
