Chapter 18
1
The priests the Levites, all the tribe of Levi, shall have no portion or inheritance with Israel; they shall eat the fire offerings of the LORD as his inheritance.

He shall have no inheritance among his brothers; the LORD is his inheritance, just as he spoke to him.
3
This shall be the right of the priests from the people, from the sacrifices of the sacrifice—if an ox, if a sheep or goat. And he shall give to the priest the offspring and the jowls and its stomach.
4
The firstfruits of your grain, your new wine, and your olive oil, and the firstfruits of the shearing of your sheep, you shall give to him.
5
for the LORD your God has chosen him from all your tribes to stand to serve in the name of the LORD, he and his sons forever.
6
And if a Levite comes from one of your gates, from all Israel where he sojourns there, and comes with all the desire of his nephesh to the place that the LORD will choose.
7
and he serves in the name of the LORD his God like all his brothers the Levites who stand there before the LORD.
8
They shall eat it as a portion, apart from his sales of his fathers.
