1And when David had passed a little beyond the top, there was Ziba, the servant of Mephibosheth, meeting him, with a pair of donkeys saddled, and on them two hundred loaves of bread, and a hundred raisin cakes, and a hundred summer fruits, and a skin of wine.2And the king said to Ziba, "What are these to you?" And Ziba said, "The donkeys are for the king's household to ride on, and the bread and the summer fruit for the young men to eat, and the wine for those who are weary to drink in the wilderness."3And the king said, "And where is the son of your master's house?" And Ziba said to the king, "Look, he is sitting in Jerusalem, for he said today, 'Israel will restore the house of my father to me.'"4And the king said to Ziba, "Look, all that belongs to Mephibosheth is yours." And Ziba said, "I bow down; may I find grace in your eyes, my lord the king."
