Making the Ark

Exodus 37:1-9
1Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood; its length was two cubits and a half, its width a cubit and a half, and its height a cubit and a half. 2He overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and he made a gold border around it. 3He cast four gold rings for it upon its four feet, two rings upon one side of it, and two rings upon its second side. 4He made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. 5He inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark in order to carry the ark. 6He made a mercy seat of pure gold; its length was two cubits and a half, and its width a cubit and a half. 7He made two cherubim of gold; he made them of beaten work from the two ends of the mercy seat. 8One cherub from one end of it and one cherub from the other end of it; he made the cherubim from the two ends of the mercy seat. 9The cherubim had their wings spread upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces were toward one another and toward the mercy seat.
