17For behold, I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come up upon the heart.18But rejoice and be glad forever in what I am creating; for behold, I am creating Jerusalem as rejoicing and her people as joy.19I will rejoice over Jerusalem and exult in my people; the sound of weeping and the sound of crying shall no longer be heard in her.20There shall no longer be from there an infant of days or an old man who does not fill his days, for the youth is a son of a hundred years when he dies, and the one who sins is a son of a hundred years when he is accursed.21They shall build houses and dwell in them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.22They shall not build and another dwell; they shall not plant and another eat, for like the days of the tree shall be the days of my people, and the work of their hands shall grow old among my chosen.23They shall not labor for vain or beget for dismay, for they are the seed blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.24And it shall be that before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.25The wolf and the lamb shall pasture as one, and the lion shall eat straw like the cattle, and dust shall be food for the serpent; they shall not do evil or ruin in all my holy mountain, says the LORD.
