Leviticus 9:1-24
1On the eighth day Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel. 2He said to Aaron, "Take a calf, for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, both unblemished, and present them before the LORD." 3To the sons of Israel you shall speak, saying, "Take a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a year-old lamb, both unblemished, for a burnt offering." 4And cattle and a ram for peace offerings to sacrifice before the LORD, and an offering mixed with oil, for today the LORD will appear to you. 5They took what Moses had commanded to the tent of meeting, and the whole congregation presented themselves and stood before the LORD. 6Moses said, "This is the word the LORD commanded: Do it, and the glory of the LORD will appear to you." 7Moses said to Aaron, "Approach the altar and offer your sin offering and your burnt offering and make atonement for yourself and for the people, and offer the people's offering and make atonement for them, as the LORD commanded." 8Aaron approached the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin offering that belonged to him. 9Aaron's sons brought the blood to him; he dipped his finger in the blood, put it on the horns of the altar, and poured the blood at the base of the altar. 10He burned the fat, the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver from the sin offering on the altar, as the LORD had commanded Moses. 11The flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp. 12He slaughtered the burnt offering; Aaron's sons brought the blood to him, and he dashed it around the altar. 13They brought the burnt offering to him with its pieces and the head, and he burned them on the altar. 14He washed the inward parts and the legs and burned them on the burnt offering upon the altar. 15He presented the people's offering, took the he-goat of the sin offering that belonged to the people, slaughtered it, and performed the sin offering for it as the first. 16He presented the burnt offering and performed it according to the prescribed procedure. 17He presented the offering, filled his palm from it, and burned it on the altar apart from the morning burnt offering. 18He slaughtered the cattle and the ram, the sacrifice of the peace offerings that belonged to the people; Aaron's sons brought the blood to him, and he dashed it around the altar. 19They brought the fats from the cattle and from the ram: the fat tail, the covering, the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver. 20They placed the fat portions on the breasts, and he burned the fat portions on the altar. 21Aaron waved the breasts and the right leg before the LORD as a wave offering, as Moses had commanded. 22Aaron raised his hands toward the people and blessed them; then he came down after offering the sin offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings. 23Moses and Aaron entered the tent of meeting; when they came out they blessed the people, and the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people. 24Fire came out from before the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fats on the altar; when all the people saw it they shouted and fell on their faces.
